Love poster
This is an illustration of the meeting of extremes, which in a gesture of tenderness become one. The monumental rock and the ethereal being are not alien worlds here—their relationship forges a new, shared space. The stone here is not a symbol of coldness, but a secure foundation upon which light can rest.
The composition relies on a contrast between weight and transience. The giant emerging from the dark water doesn't dominate its surroundings, but becomes an oasis. The empty space of the night sky and ocean emphasizes the intimacy of the moment; a moment of suspension, where the entire universe is concentrated solely in the hands holding the glow.
The plant motifs growing on the figure—clumps of moss and tiny conifers—are evidence that proximity awakens life. The greenery here is not decorative, but a biological response to the warmth emanating from the tiny creature. The light not only dispels the darkness but physically alters the structure of the stone, giving it softness and a golden glow, blurring the line between the dead and the living.
The color palette, dominated by subdued grays and cool blues, is broken by a luminous, almost tangible yellow. The absence of garish colors draws attention to the emotional weight of the gesture—to a tenderness that requires no words. The illustration speaks not of a violent feeling, but of a love that is permanence, care, and the mutual illumination of each other's path.
This poster is for spaces meant to be havens and places of peace: bedrooms, reading nooks, and intimate studios. For people who perceive love not as a loud manifestation, but as a quiet presence and mutual support.
Poster
This poster was created as a standalone illustration —a hanging image that doesn't dominate the space but complements it. It's present in the detail, rhythm, and silence of its form.
The print is executed with attention to the nature of the work and the material. The illustration retains its breath and proportions both in a smaller format and on a larger scale. This is a poster that functions well in space and changes with the light.
Various sizes are available, so the work can be adapted to a specific wall and interior.
