Leaflings Poster (light)
This illustration is immersed in the world of insect forms , which resemble leaves, stems, and seeds. There is no division between the living and the vegetative. Everything exists in a single, shared order. The insect does not mask itself from the world; it disappears within it.
The composition is vertical, ordered as a research board, yet devoid of the coldness of scientific classification. Symmetries and repetitions create a rhythm that leads the eye downward and into the image. Each form is separate, yet dependent on the whole. Nothing dominates, nothing fades into the background.
The motifs of leaves, wings, and carapace work through similarity. The differences are subtle, almost whispered. This is a poster that teaches attentive observation —noticing nuances, subtle shifts in shape and color. It reveals itself slowly, with time spent in front of the painting .
